Mark Gurman of Bloomberg said in the latest episode of PowerOn that the new iPadPro is the beginning of a new generation of Apple devices, with the goal of making these products the thinnest and lightest among similar products.

Gurman also revealed that Apple is now focusing on developing a thinner phone for the 2025 iPhone 17 series, much thinner than the current iPhone design. In addition, Apple is developing new versions of MacBookPro and iPadPro that are thinner than the current generation designs.

TapTechNews noted that analyst Jeff Pu claimed in May this year that Apple's next year's iPhone 17 lineup has significant changes, claiming that the series models will adopt a completely new design, while improving the front camera and introducing a smaller Dynamic Island, etc.

Jeff Pu also said that Apple will launch a new iPhone 17 Slim model to replace the Plus model in the lineup, but this Slim model is not a continuation of the previous iPhone 12/13 mini.

Interestingly, Apple's old rival Samsung plans to launch a Galaxy ZFold6 Slim phone this year, which is said to be thinner than the regular Galaxy ZFold6. If the news is true, the mobile phone industry is expected to change the design direction in the next two years.
