Apple's New Updates MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac mini, M4 Chip and More

TapTechNews October 6th news, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman today released the news that the custom configurations of all MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac mini models show shipping delays until the end of October.

Gurman has repeatedly reported that new Mac models will be launched this fall. He said there are also some configuration delays for the MacBook Air - but it's too early for the update of the Air.

Taking the 14-inch MacBook Pro as an example, the delivery time of the customized MacBook Pro M3 24GB + 1TB version on Apple's official website is October 18th ~ October 25th.

And the other versions of the 14-inch MacBook Pro such as M3 8GB + 512GB, 8GB + 1TB, 16GB + 1TB; M3 Pro 18GB + 512GB, 18GB + 1TB and M3 Max 36GB + 1TB are all in stock for sale.

Gurman also previously broke the news that Apple will release new MacBook Pro, iMac and Mac mini products with the M4 series of chips this year (2024).

TapTechNews queries public information, and Apple updated the MacBook Pro and iMac series in the online event held on October 30, 2023; while the Mac mini was updated in January 2023.

The M4 chip has been launched in the latest iPad Pro, with a performance up to 25% faster than the M3 chip, and the M4 supports a maximum of 10-core CPU.

The new MacBook Pro will include 14-inch and 16-inch models, there will be no design changes, and the improvement of OLED display and thinner design is expected not until 2026.

The Mac mini is expected to update the M4 and M4Pro chips, the volume will be close to that of Apple TV, lacking USB-A ports and will be equipped with five USB-C ports, which is a major design change since 2010.
