After OpenAI signed a multi-year cooperation with News Corporation, the latest news said that Meta and Alphabet, the parent company of Google, are seeking to reach an agreement with Hollywood film companies to use their related content.

The news said that the two giant companies have contacted and negotiated with many Hollywood film companies, involving transactions of up to millions of dollars. These transactions can enable these two companies to obtain authorized video content to train their artificial intelligence models.

TapTechNews quoted the source of the news that film companies such as Netflix, Disney and Warner Bros. have all been involved. The first two are not very willing to join, but they have not flatly refused, just hoping for other cooperation methods.

Warner Bros. seems to have a more open attitude towards this idea, and Alphabet or Meta may obtain the right to use its content.

At present, there are very few details about these transactions. We don't know which companies will obtain these contents, what kind of transactions Netflix and Disney hope to reach, and whether these cooperations will succeed.
