Apple's watchOS11's 'Vitals' App Detecting Potential Diseases in Advance with Varied Results

TapTechNews October 7th news, according to MacRumors' report tonight, recently several Reddit users have posted that the Vitals application provided by Apple for watchOS11 can detect potential diseases several days before symptoms appear.

TapTechNews note: This application will analyze the sleep data of users in the past 7 days to help some Apple Watch users detect potential diseases in advance. This feature applies to Apple Watch Series 8 and newer models, including the Apple Watch Ultra series, and the device must run watchOS11.

Users can view the data through this application on the Apple Watch, or find the Vitals section in the Health application on the iPhone to view heart rate, respiratory rate, wrist temperature, sleep duration and blood oxygen level and other data. Vitals will establish a normal range according to individual circumstances and alert users when the data goes beyond the range.

A Reddit user named RCG21 said as follows:

Since the beta version of Vitals was launched, I have been using it, and I have probably been sick twice during this period. Each time it can detect it a few days in advance, and at that time I didn't have any uncomfortable feeling.

A user named dalethomas81 showed his data screenshot and said:

I felt a bit off when I woke up early this morning. Now in the evening, that familiar feeling of being sick in the head has emerged again.

User TizianosBoy said: After I got vaccinated with COVID and the flu vaccine, the three indicators of wrist temperature, heart rate and respiratory rate were all abnormal, which let me know that my physical condition was not good. It's really amazing.
