2025 BYD Han DM-i New Look, Lidar, and Advanced DM Technology

TapTechNews noted that the new BYD Han model has already been declared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in July this year, including two power types such as DM-i and EV.

According to the previous official introduction, the fifth-generation DM technology has the world's highest 46.06% engine thermal efficiency, the world's lowest 2.9 liters per 100 kilometers fuel consumption in power loss, and the world's longest 2100 kilometers comprehensive range. The blade battery of the fifth-generation DM technology increases the energy density to 115 Wh/kg, an increase of 15.9%, the discharge rate is 16C, and the feedback rate is 5C, an increase of 20.3%.

It is worth noting that in the eighth batch of the new energy vehicle catalog for exemption from purchase tax announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new BYD Han model is included, and the range and power information are also announced:

BYD Han EV: Equipped with a 72 kWh battery, the curb weight is 2000 kg, and the CLTC range is 605 km.

BYD Han DM: Equipped with 12.960/18.316 kWh battery, the curb weight is 1860/1910 kg, and the pure electric range is 70/102 km.
