Weibo Esports Club Partners with DKZ for 2024 Saudi Esports World Cup

On June 11th, TapTechNews reported that the Weibo Esports Club (WBG) recently announced that it has reached a cooperation with the DKZ Esports Club.

The DKZ will be renamed as the WBG StarCraft II division and will represent WBG in the StarCraft II project of the 2024 Saudi Esports World Cup.

The WBG StarCraft II division currently has many outstanding players from both domestic and abroad, and the most notable one is undoubtedly Li Peinan 'Oliveira', the champion of the 'StarCraft II' project in the 2023 Katowice Station finals.

Li Peinan advanced to the top four in the ESL Dallas Station tournament not long ago, and with this result, he became the first Chinese player to be confirmed to participate in the StarCraft II project of the 2024 Saudi Esports World Cup.

TapTechNews learned from the dynamic of the official StarCraft Weibo on June 5th that the other two Chinese players, Coffee and Cyan, are competing for the quota to advance to the e-sports world cup through the top of the EPT points list in the Asian region.
