TapTechNews June 1st news, Intel updated its support documentation on May 27th and announced the details of the Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) BE201 network card product code-named 'FillmorePeak2'.
TapTechNews note: Different from the existing BE200 and BE202 which use the PICe/USB interface, BE201 supports the latest CNVio3 interface.
The main specifications of the BE201 network card are similar to those of BE200, supporting 2x2 TX/RX streams, supporting 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz, and the maximum network speed can reach 5Gbps, which is much lower than the maximum standard rate of 40Gbit/s.
BE201 also supports Bluetooth 5.4 and Bluetooth LE, and provides two size options of M.2 Type 2230/KeyE (BE201NGW)/1216 (BE201D2W). M.2 Type 1216 means it will be directly soldered on the PCB of the notebook computer, especially in ultrabooks and NUC-like products.
