Samsung Launches Galaxy Z Fold6 with Enhanced Features in Paris
TapTechNews July 10th news, Samsung launched the latest foldable phone Galaxy Z Fold6 at the Unpacked 2024 event held in Paris today. As expected, Galaxy Z Fold6 is the thinnest foldable phone Samsung has ever made, but that's just one of its highlights.
Galaxy Z Fold6 has a slightly wider outer screen than the previous generation, with the aspect ratio changing from 23.1:9 of Fold5 to 22.1:9, meaning the feel after folding is closer to that of a bar phone. The overall design is more squared, the surface is more flat, and like the Galaxy S24 series, some components use more recyclable rare earth elements. In addition, the frame uses the improved Armor Aluminium, and the scratch resistance is increased by 10%, and the front and back covers are both protected by Gorilla Victus2 glass.
The waterproof and dustproof rating of Galaxy Z Fold6 is upgraded to IP48. Galaxy Z Fold6 overseas models are equipped with 12GB RAM and 256GB, 512GB or 1TB storage space. The standard tones include Silver Shadow, Navy Blue and Pink, while the colors available only online are Refined Black and White.
