Leaked APK of New Google PixelWeather Features and Interface

TapTechNews on August 8th, according to a blog post by the tech media 9to5Google yesterday (August 7th), the APK file of the brand-new PixelWeather has been leaked, and interested users can side-load and install for experience.

Icon

The icon uses a blue background with textures of the sun and clouds. Google claims that this application can provide real-time weather, forecasts, and other detailed information for your current or saved locations.

Functions

Google requires notification permissions, but currently there is nothing about alerts in the application. By looking at the strings of version 1.0.20240318.637962058, PixelWeather will offer the following functions:

Precipitation notification: Push notifications when precipitation such as rain or snow is about to arrive.

Weather forecast: Push a weather forecast notification for the current location every night.

Interface

When viewing the weather of a certain city, you can re-arrange all cards except the hourly forecast. For example, you can move the 10-day forecast to the bottom.

The UV index adopts the scallop shape of MaterialYou, while the other parts are rounded square or round. The pressure gauge looks like the WearOS tile in the Fitbit application.
