Microsoft Win11 Screenshot Tool Unveils Hidden Feature Using Bing to Recognize Image Content

TapTechNews, May 11 - According to a recent tweet by PhantomOcean3, the latest version 11.2404.37.0 of the Windows 11 screenshot tool released by Microsoft features a hidden Bing search capability.

Microsoft did not mention this update officially, but users can access an option called “Visual Search with Bing” in the context menu of the screenshot tool, as shown in the screenshot below:

This feature is similar to Google Lens, as it identifies objects within an image and attempts to find corresponding sources on the web.

Currently, Microsoft has invited only a select group of users to test this feature. However, Microsoft has already provided an alternative solution in the Windows 11 system, which involves copying and pasting screenshots into the Copilot window to let AI conduct the image search.
