Intel Delays LunarLake CPU Shipment, Impact on Future Products

According to TapTechNews on June 22, an anonymous insider reported to the media DigiTimes that Intel had internally postponed the shipping time of the LunarLake notebook computer CPU (tentatively named Intel Core Ultra200) from June to September meaning that when it comes to the consumer side, the related products may not be available until the end of 2024.

At Microsoft's Build Developer Preview event held in May, the Copilot+PC series of products were launched. Microsoft cooperated with brands such as Dell, Asus, and Acer to introduce more than 20 products equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon XElite and XPlus chips.

Subsequently, Intel also announced that it will launch a brand new LunarLake processor and plans to cooperate with more than 20 OEM manufacturers to launch more than 80 new notebooks in the third quarter of this year.

The first batch of products equipped with Intel's LunarLake processor will be available for sale before the Christmas shopping season, and Intel also expects that the shipment of AI PC processors this year will exceed 40 million units.
