Jaguar Land Rover to Recall Thousands of Vehicles in the US

TapTechNews June 21 news, TapTechNews learned from the State Administration for Market Regulation that Jaguar Land Rover (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and Jaguar Land Rover (Ningbo) Trading Co., Ltd. have filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation according to the requirements of the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products and the Implementation Measures of the Regulations on the Recall of Defective Automobile Products, and will recall the following vehicles starting from June 26, 2024.

First, Jaguar Land Rover (China) Investment Co., Ltd.

Recall some imported 2024 Jaguar F-PACE, Land Rover Discovery, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover, and Range Rover Velar vehicles produced from November 28, 2023 to December 21, 2023, a total of 915 units.

Second, Jaguar Land Rover (Ningbo) Trading Co., Ltd.

Recall some imported 2024 Land Rover Defender vehicles produced from November 30, 2023 to January 31, 2024, a total of 854 units.

In the vehicles within the scope of this recall, due to manufacturing process reasons, the strength of the oil filter housing is insufficient and may crack, resulting in oil leakage. If it comes into contact with high-temperature components, there is a risk of fire.

Jaguar Land Rover (China) Investment Co., Ltd. and Jaguar Land Rover (Ningbo) Trading Co., Ltd. will replace the oil filter housing, oil filter and O-ring for the vehicles within the recall scope free of charge to eliminate potential safety hazards.
