FAW Hongqi Develops Motor Controller Demo Platform Prototype

TapTechNews August 12th news, FAW Hongqi officially announced on August 9th that the New Energy Development Institute of the R & D General Institute tackled the Hongqi motor controller Demo platform prototype, and it has successfully run on the test bench recently, achieving full autonomous control of application software, basic software, and chip hardware.

According to the official introduction of FAW Hongqi, the electric drive system, as the heart of a new energy electric vehicle, its performance is directly related to the power, economy and comfort of the vehicle. And the motor controller, as the brain of the electric drive system, is a key component for real-time control of the working state of the motor.

FAW Hongqi's breakthrough motor controller Demo platform is adapted to fully autonomous development application algorithms and realizes stable torque output under full torque conditions on the test bench, and successfully ignites. In the future, this product is planned to be applied to Hongqi's research and development models.

The chairman and Party secretary of China FAW, Qiu Xiandong, revealed in July that the Hongqi brand exceeded 200,000 units (TapTechNews note: wholesale sales) in the first half of this year, with a year-on-year increase of more than 40%. In the next five years, Hongqi will invest 120 billion yuan in various R & D funds and focus on conquering 983 key core technologies, among which more than 70 are related to manufacturing technologies such as intelligent manufacturing and green manufacturing, accelerating towards the goals of an intelligent factory and a zero-carbon factory.
