Hacker Group Nullbulge Steals 1.1 TiB of Disney Data via BeamNG.drive

TapTechNews July 31st news, a hacker group named Nullbulge has stolen 1.1 TiB (about 1126.4 gigabytes) of Disney data by hacking into BeamNG.drive, involving personal information of employees, unpublished video games and other information.

The executives of Disney company are big fans of the BeamNG.drive simulator, but due to its lack of caution in data security, the hacker followed the vine and stole a large amount of data.

According to the report of PCGamer, Nullbulge released a BeamNG's MOD, which contains a Trojan horse that allows Nullbulge to remotely access and activate the infected computer.

And this Disney executive should be a software development manager, who activated the company's Slack channel on the infected computer, resulting in more than 1.1 TiB of data being stolen.

Disney company has issued a simple statement on the hacker incident, only saying that Disney company is investigating this matter.
