China Adds 6 International Communication Service Access Points in Multiple Cities
TapTechNews July 10th news, according to the comprehensive 工信微报 and CCTV News, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology today granted licenses to China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom, and approved the establishment of 6 international communication service access points in Nanning, Guangxi, Qingdao, Shandong, Kunming, Yunnan, and Haikou, Hainan.
It is known that this is the first addition of international communication service access points in 30 years. After completion, it will significantly enhance the international network communication capacity, better promote the interconnection of infrastructure, cross-border data flow, and the development of international digital trade, and promote a higher level of opening up, creating new kinetic energy and new advantages for building a new development pattern.
TapTechNews note: China achieved full-function access to the international Internet in 1994, and the three major operators previously established 9 international communication service access points in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou.
The international communication service access point, that is, the interconnection node between the domestic operator's communication network and the foreign operator's communication network, is mainly used to realize the interconnection and data exchange of the two parties' businesses.
