The 'palace intrigue' drama of OpenAI season 2 has begun. TapTechNews cited Wired's report that after Ilya announced his departure, the team's co-leader Jan Leike also officially announced his departure, and the team's work has now been merged into other research work of OpenAI.

Ilya helped Sam Altman found OpenAI in 2015 and set the direction for the research of ChatGPT, but in the 'palace intrigue' last November, he was also one of the four board members who supported the dismissal of Altman.
