TapTechNews June 3rd news, The founder of the video conferencing platform Zoom, Yuan Zheng (Eric Yuan), was interviewed by the foreign media TheVerge recently and talked about the future development of this emerging form of meeting.

Yuan Zheng previously worked at Cisco and then founded Zoom, realizing that there was an opportunity to make video conferencing easier to use. And now, Yuan Zheng hopes that Zoom is not just a video conferencing platform, but competes with Microsoft and Google in the field of enterprise software, and tries to make documents, emails and other productivity tools as good as a chat platform.

Nowadays, all walks of life are embracing AI, and Zoom is no exception, and has invested heavily in the AI field. Yuan Zheng said that one of the great benefits of AI in work is that everyone can create a digital twin - which is essentially a deep fake incarnation of oneself. This digital twin can represent the user to attend the Zoom video conference and even make decisions on behalf of the user when the user spends his time on more important things (such as accompanying family).

Yuan Zheng further added that the prerequisite for achieving this goal is that the user can control all digital twins. In some cases, multiple digital twins of the user will show different characteristics according to the trained content. For example, one digital twin is more like a sales expert and another digital twin is more like a senior engineer. This is the reason why artificial intelligence is full of uncertainties, but in reality, it will definitely be achieved.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, Zoom has clearly stated in the service terms last year that it will not use the user's data to train and generate AI without the user's permission.
