Sony's 'Venom The Last Dance' Releases First Trailer

TapTechNews June 3rd, the first trailer of the third installment of Sony Pictures' Venom series - Venom: The Last Dance (or The Last Tango) was released today.

The 2018's Venom: Letal Protector grossed over 850 million US dollars (TapTechNews note: about 6.103 billion yuan at present), and the global box office of the sequel also exceeded 500 million US dollars (about 3.59 billion yuan at present).

Tom Hardy announced on Instagram last November that the film, billed as the last of the series, had resumed production after being suspended due to the actors' strike last year. The project was initially scheduled to be released in June 2024 but was postponed to November due to the strike and then moved up to October 25 for the North American release.

As its name suggests, Hardy also referred to the film as The Last Dance, saying, 'When you love what you do and you know you have great material and support from all sides, from a great team, it doesn't feel that difficult to work.'

According to TapTechNews' previous report, this film is written and directed by Kelly Marcel, Tom Hardy reprises his lead role and continues to participate in the scriptwriting, with Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor joining the new cast, as well as Tom Holland's Spider-Man and Benedict's Doctor Strange.
