Advantages of CAMM2 DDR5 Memory in Desktop Computers

TapTechNews August 16th news, major manufacturers have basically all launched their own CAMM2 memory before, such as MSI, ASRock, and ASUS also announced special Intel motherboards supporting CAMM2 memory at the Taipei Computer Show in June.

Compared to traditional SO-DIMM memory modules, CAMM2 memory has shorter traces, which brings higher signal integrity, faster speed, lower latency, and cooler and newer design.

Finally, MSI also demonstrated the DDR5-7200 CAMM2 memory running on its Z790 PROJECT PLUS motherboard, and it is predicted that the CAMM2 memory based on the (LP)DDR6 standard will debut in 2026.
