Steve Jobs' Signed Items Up for Auction Checks and Tapes

TapTechNews September 15th news, the tech media AppleInsider released a blog post yesterday (September 14th), reporting that RR Auction had held an RemarkableRarities online auction event , including checks issued by Apple Computer Company and tapes signed by Steve Jobs himself.

Check

This check has a date of July 16, 1976, signed by Steve Jobs. The check was made out to ElmarElectronics company with an amount of $10.52.

RR Auction expects this new check to fetch at least $25,000. As of TapTechNews' press time, after 14 rounds of bidding, its current price is $12,650 (TapTechNews note: currently about 89,859 Chinese yuan).

Another Apple Computer check signed by Steve Jobs, which was made out to RadioShack on July 23 of the same year with an amount of $4.01, was sold at $46,063 in an auction at the end of 2023.

Tape

Another item in the new auction is a tape, also signed by Steve Jobs. It was once a way to store and retrieve data in the early days of the Apple II computer. This is the first known instance of a tape with Steve Jobs' signature.
