Microsoft to Release Windows 11 24H2 Update with New Features

TapTechNews September 18th news, Microsoft yesterday released a blog article about data security, which mentioned that the Windows 11 24H2 update will be推出 with the optional non-security preview update on September 24th and will be officially pushed to all users along with the October cumulative update on October 8th.

The new features of 24H2 are limited, mainly involving a variety of AI functions (and overseas users also have the integrated AI Copilot), as well as the addition of support for Wi-Fi 7 and the sudo function applicable to Windows.

TapTechNews noticed that currently, the Microsoft Dev, Canary, RP, and enterprise GAC channels have already pushed the preview update based on 24H2, while the Beta channel still remains at the 23H2 version, and LTSC is even still at the 21H2 version. It is expected that Microsoft will also launch the corresponding LTSC version after updating 24H2. Of course, the LTSC preview version for the Internet of Things field has been announced, and interested users can try it out by themselves.
