As a major global FPGA manufacturer, Lattice is one of the most important independent FPGA suppliers besides AMD-Xilinx and Intel-Altera, and its business focuses on low-power programmable devices. The company achieved revenue of 124 million US dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 880 million yuan) in the second fiscal quarter of fiscal year 2024 ending June 29, 2024.

According to his personal LinkedIn page, Ford Tamer served as senior vice president and general manager of Broadcom's Infrastructure Network Division from 2002 to 2007, and the longest job he held was as president and chief executive officer of Inphi from 2012 to 2021, making the company a market leader in optoelectronic solutions.

Ford Tamer entered the Marvell board of directors after Inphi was acquired by Marvell美满 until joining Lattice, and he is still a board member of the AI chip startup Groq and the automated test equipment supplier Teradyne.
