Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition Released with Core Configurations

TapTechNews August 3rd news, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic commemorative edition gift box is now available on the Samsung Mall and open for purchase, priced at $1149.84 (7999 yuan), limited to 300 pieces, in addition to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6, it also includes Olympic-themed phone cases, Olympic mascot blind boxes and other items.

Before this, Samsung has distributed Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic customized version of folding screen phones for free to nearly 17,000 athletes of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

In terms of core configuration, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 is the world's first small folding screen phone equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon 8. The outer screen is upgraded from 3.7 inches to 3.9 inches, and the inner screen is 6.7 inches, supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6 has a 50-million-pixel main camera and a 12-million-pixel ultra-wide-angle lens on the rear. It has a built-in 4000 mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging.

According to TapTechNews, Samsung has cooperated with the International Olympic Committee for 26 years. Since the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics, it has provided customized smartphones for Olympic athletes. In this Paris Olympics, Samsung also used more than 200 Galaxy S24 Ultra phones to live-stream the athlete's water parade at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics.
