TapTechNews June 24th news, according to Taiwan media BenchLife.info, consumer devices with Intel LunarLake processors will go on sale from September 17th to 24th, slightly earlier than this year's On Technology Innovation Conference (TapTechNews note: that is, Innovation2024).

It is mentioned in the report that Intel is expected to officially release the LunarLake platform in early September, and commercial LunarLake devices will be launched in January 2025.

The architectural details of the Intel LunarLake processor were announced at Computex Taipei 2024.

It is equipped with a new LinoCove performance core and Skymont efficiency core, as well as Xe2 "Battlemage" GPU, a fourth-generation Intel NPU with 48 TOPS of AI computing power, and also integrates up to 32GB of package-level memory.

Intel claims that the SoC power consumption of the Intel LunarLake processor can be reduced by up to 40% compared to the previous generation.

In addition, in the part of Intel's next-generation desktop processors, the product release of ArrorLake-S will roughly continue the traditional practice as usual:

The -K unlocked version of ArrorLake-S and the Z890 chipset motherboard will go on sale in October 2024; while the non-K locked frequency version CPU and B860, H810 motherboards will not be seen until after CES 2025.
