TapTechNews May 24th news, Microsoft is actively promoting the Windows on ARM platform game ecosystem. In addition to introducing the ARM to x86 compatibility layer Prism, which claims a 20% increase in translation efficiency, it also launched the Auto Super Resolution (AutoSR) technology, which can enhance the gaming experience.
At the Build 2024 developers' conference, Microsoft approved a community-driven website, worksonwoa.com, which collects performance statistics of many PC games on the Arm version of Windows.
AutoSR increases the frame rate by automatically reducing the rendering resolution of the game, and then uses complex AI technology to provide enhanced high-definition visual objects, which will result in a smoother and more detailed gaming experience.
