This seat belt rupture incident is indeed caused by the modification, not a product quality problem.
The official principle analysis is as follows:
Firstly, at the moment of the accident, the seat belt retractor pre-tension detonated, and the third-party transfer latch was strongly pulled and detached, and the force at this time was more than 1.8 KN. This greatly reduces the restraint of the seat belt system on the occupants, and then leads to abnormal dislocation of the occupants.
