AMD's MI300X Tops GeekBench's OpenCL Ranking

TapTechNews June 26 news, AMD's MI300X GPU appeared in the OpenCL benchmark database of GeekBench 6, with a score of 379660 points, topping the OpenCL benchmark ranking list of GeekBench and being the GPU with the highest score on the list.

TapTechNews note: The OpenCL benchmark ranking list of GeekBench has not yet included this benchmarking record. Currently, the number one is Nvidia's L40S (352507 points), and the second is Nvidia's GeForce RTX 4090 (319583 points).

The benchmark score of MI300X GPU is 18.8% higher than that of RTX 4090 and 7.7% higher than that of Nvidia L40S GPU.

AMD MI300X processor is estimated to cost between $10,000 and $20,000, while the suggested retail price of Nvidia RTX 4090 graphics card is $1599, and the current lowest price online is $1739.99.

Nvidia L40S GPU is the upgraded version of Nvidia's previous L40GPU. It is equipped with 48GB GDDR6 ECC graphics memory. The GPU is based on the Ada Lovelace architecture and is equipped with the fourth-generation TensorCore and FP8 conversion engine. The computing speed is 5 times that of the previous generation, but it still does not support NVLink.
