Zhang Nan, President of Feishu, Steps Down

TapTechNews June 14th news, 36Kr reported that Zhang Nan, the president of Feishu (a male, the same name as Zhang Nan (female), the former CEO of TikTok), has recently stepped down.

This adjustment has not been officially announced in any formal announcement, only synchronized within a small range inside Feishu. Zhang Nan stepped down mainly for personal reasons, and will gradually transition to a Feishu consultant position next.

At the beginning of 2024, the pre-sales and sales team of Feishu's major customers completed a round of integration. Most of the sales teams reported to Lin Chan, the chief commercial officer of Feishu, and Lin Chan reported to Zhang Nan. However, the business actually in charge of Zhang Nan has decreased, and gradually withdrew from daily management affairs.

TapTechNews found through inquiries that Zhang Nan joined ByteDance in 2014, and in 2016 was appointed as the president of Xigua Video, leading Xigua Video to become the largest PUGC short-video platform in China at that time, with a total user scale of more than 350 million; in 2020, he was appointed as the president of Feishu. Before joining ByteDance, Zhang Nan used to be a software engineer at Wandoujia.

It is reported that Zhang Nan has 'great credit' in the establishment of the advertising system of TikTok, established the user growth system of TikTok from 0 to 1. Next, perhaps other senior executives of ByteDance will participate in the adjustment of Feishu, which is a habit of ByteDance - to stimulate organizational potential through personnel changes.
