According to sources, the orders of wide-body 777 and 787 aircraft are expected to be delivered in the next few days, and the delivery of Boeing 737MAX will resume as early as next month.

The report mentioned that the delivery of Boeing's aircraft to China temporarily stopped in May, and the company had sent a message of delay to investors. The reason for this suspension is that the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) has conducted a review of the battery in the cockpit voice recorder.

In a document at the end of 2023, Boeing said that it has about 140 737MAX8 aircraft in its inventory, including 85 aircraft for Chinese customers. From the beginning of 2024 to the end of April, Boeing delivered 22 aircraft to China.

The Boeing 737MAX has been grounded by many countries around the world after two crashes in 2018 and 2019 that killed 346 people and was only allowed to resume flying in some countries in 2022. In January 2023, the flight CZ3960 of China Southern Airlines took off from Guangzhou and flew to Zhengzhou, marking the resumption of the commercial passenger operation of the Boeing 737MAX model in China.

Liu Qing, president of Boeing China, posted at the end of 2023 that under the joint efforts of the Boeing team and the customer team, all 737MAX of China's civil aviation have resumed operation and begun to fly on many regional international routes.

The Boeing 787 is an ultra-long-range medium-sized passenger airliner that was launched in December 2009. According to a previous report by TapTechNews, due to production defect problems, Boeing stopped the delivery of 787 Dreamliner at the end of 2020 and gradually resumed since 2022.

At the end of 2023, the Boeing 787-9 aircraft for China's Juneyao Airlines flew from Everett, Washington, USA to Shanghai. This is the first time since November 2019 that Boeing has directly delivered a 787 Dreamliner to a Chinese airline.
