Earlier today, Samsung announced that it will apply its AI-driven digital voice assistant Bixby to its BESPOKEAI series of home appliance products. This upgraded digital voice assistant can understand the context, it can understand natural language containing multiple commands, remember previous conversations, and obtain information about the device.

Bixby will be extended to the following home appliances:

BespokeAICombo

BespokeAIFamilyHub refrigerator

BespokeAISteam vacuum cleaner

BespokeAIWind-FreeGallery air conditioner

Samsung claims that Bixby can understand sentences containing multiple commands. For example, users can say: Set the air conditioner to 26 degrees Celsius and finish the laundry by 5 p.m. It will understand that the air conditioner needs to be turned on and the temperature set to 26 degrees Celsius, and the washing machine needs to finish the laundry work later in the day.

Users can also ask: How much energy has my washing machine saved this month? And then ask: Oh, what about my electricity bill? Bixby will understand these two voice commands and answer these questions one by one.

TapTechNews noticed that Bixby will also have another function. It will have all the information in the user manual of each home appliance, so it can provide users with usage tips and troubleshooting-related information. Users can ask Bixby: How to replace my air conditioner filter? It will understand the user's question and provide relevant steps for the user.

Samsung has also introduced generative AI to its BESPOKEAIFamilyHub refrigerator. The new function can create a custom background using the GenerativeWallpaper function. This function debuted on the Galaxy S24 series of phones earlier this year and was later ported to several other Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
