It is required to post an apology on Weibo at the top for 24 hours, and at the same time compensate Xiaomi for economic losses, etc. a total of 150,000 yuan ($21,429) within seven days after the judgment takes effect.

The court determined as follows:

The defendant repeatedly and repeatedly made unsubstantiated or overly aggressive remarks against Xiaomi on the public network platform, which has caused damage to Xiaomi's business reputation and constitutes business slander;

The defendant disclosed several internal documents marked with confidentiality of Xiaomi. Such documents, after being taken confidentiality measures by Xiaomi, have secrecy and certain commercial value. The defendant's unauthorized disclosure of such documents violates Xiaomi's trade secrets;

Considering Xiaomi's popularity, the defendant's number of fans, the defendant's existing business slander behavior and also infringing trade secrets behavior, and the defendant has a certain degree of subjective intention, the court determined that the defendant compensate Xiaomi for economic losses and reasonable expenses totaling 150,000 yuan ($21,429).

It is worth noting that in early February this year, Xiaomi announced that it received the first-instance judgment of the infringement of the Weibo platform user Xixi Daren from the Haidian District People's Court, and the judgment required the defendant to compensate a total of 150,000 yuan ($21,429) and post an apology at the top of the user's Weibo for 24 hours.
