Microsoft Excel Allows Users to Write Formulas with Copilot

TapTechNews June 25th, Microsoft released a support document yesterday (June 24th), stating that Microsoft Excel users can use Copilot to write complex formulas, and demonstrated two cases of splitting a single column into multiple columns to organize data and extracting the year in a text string to calculate age.

Splitting data in a single column

Microsoft demonstrated in the press release splitting the column data in the format of 'Alan Turing (1912-1954, United Kingdom):', splitting the person's name, year of living, and birthplace through the Copilot method.

Also based on the above-modified data, users can issue an instruction to Copilot to require adding a column showing the age at death of these characters, or write 'Alive today' if still alive.
