iPhone Users Report Siri Malfunction After Updating to iOS18.1 Beta

TapTechNews September 13th news, several major media outlets that mainly cover Apple news such as 9to5Mac and MacRumors posted blog posts yesterday (September 12th), stating that on the Reddit community, the X social platform and other forums, it was found that many iPhone users reported that they couldn't use the Siri voice assistant properly after upgrading to the iOS18.1 beta version.

According to users' feedback, when using the Siri voice assistant, a banner of Siri not available would be seen.

The banner shows that Siri data is downloading or prompts users to connect to Wi-Fi to complete Siri download. Only the download seems to always get stuck at 99%, resulting in Siri being unusable all the time.

TapTechNews quoted sources as reporting that not all users running iOS18.1 are affected, and restarting the device does not solve the problem. Users tried to turn off the AppleIntelligence function, but still did not solve this problem.
