2024 GAC Toyota Highlander Released with Little Change, Multiple Options

TapTechNews May 31, the 2024 Highlander under GAC Toyota came out today. The intelligent electric-hybrid dual-engine version has 8 models with a price range of $35,500 - $46,500 (249,800 - 325,800 yuan). The 380T four-wheel-drive gasoline version has 3 models with a price range of $40,700 - $44,200 (284,800 - 311,800 yuan).

The 2024 GAC Toyota Highlander has little change compared to the old version, offering five exterior colors including black, white, blue, silver and red. The new car is equipped with a black air intake grille, and the hybrid model offers a unique blue-accented logo. The rear uses a concealed exhaust design. Its length, width and height are 195.5 in / 75.9 in / 68.9 in (4965 mm / 1930 mm / 1750 mm) respectively, and the wheelbase is 112.2 in (2850 mm).

In the cockpit, the new car is equipped with a new 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel with 3 display modes, carrying the Snapdragon 8155 vehicle-chip + 12GB of RAM, and supporting OTA upgrade. In addition, the car offers metal wire-drawing trim panels, Nappa genuine leather + synthetic leather seats, smart touch warm light reading lamps, Toyota Pilot advanced intelligent driving, etc., and provides advanced functions such as sectional panoramic sunroof, steering wheel heating and panoramic imaging according to different models.

For power, the 2024 Highlander provides a 2.0T fuel version with a maximum power of 245 hp and a peak torque of 380 Nm, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and offers a four-wheel-drive version; the intelligent electric-hybrid dual-engine version offers a 2.5-liter gasoline-electric hybrid, with a comprehensive maximum power of the system being 245 hp, mated to an E-CVT continuously variable transmission, and also offers a four-wheel-drive version.
