Sony's 'Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered' to be Released on October 31st

TapTechNews October 3rd news, Sony SIE announced last Wednesday that 'Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered' will be released on the PlayStation 5 and PC platforms on October 31st, with a price of $49.99. Players who have already purchased the original game can upgrade to the remastered version at a price of $9.99 (TapTechNews note: currently about 70.5 Chinese yuan).

Existing players have found that the original version of 'Horizon Zero Dawn' has been removed from the Epic Games Store, and when accessing the game page, it will jump to the purchase page of 'Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered'.

VGC believes that Epic's removal of the original version may be to avoid uninformed players buying the original game at $49.99 (currently about 351 Chinese yuan) and then finding out that they have to spend $9.99 to upgrade, resulting in a total cost exceeding that of directly buying the remastered version at $49.99.

It is worth noting that although the price of both games is $49.99, the historical lowest price of 'Horizon Zero Dawn' has reached $12.49 (currently about 87.8 Chinese yuan), and the historical lowest price in the Epic and Steam China regions is 86.25 Chinese yuan.
