Huawei and Global 5G-A Operators Kick Off 5G-A Commercial Pilot Program in MWC 2024 Shanghai

TapTechNews June 25th news, during MWC 2024 Shanghai, Huawei held a global 5G-A commercial pilot program launch conference with the theme of 'Pioneer Leading, Win-Win in the 5G-A Era' today.

China Mobile/China Unicom/China Telecom, three major operators in China, Hong Kong HKT, UAE du and Oman Telecom, etc. Many global 5G-A operators attended the conference to jointly explore the realization of 5G-A network development.

The first standard version of 5G-A, 3GPP Rel-18, was officially frozen in Shanghai on June 18 this year, which is a milestone event in the development of the 5G industry, indicating that 2024 becomes the first year of 5G-A commercialization.
