TapTechNews August 5th news, today a vivo new machine with the model V2405A has passed the radio approval of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the specific listing name is unknown. Blogger @Digital Chat Station said that it is highly likely to belong to the vivoX200 series, does not support satellite communication, and is expected to have significant upgrades in screen form, battery density, and imaging system.

Previously, it was reported that the three models of the vivoX200 series that first carry the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 flagship platform will compete on the same stage with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen4 product as soon as October this year. The Dimensity 9400 chip adopts TSMC's second-generation N3 process and consists of one Cortex-X5, three Cortex-X4, and four Cortex-A720 cores. In addition, the frequency of the X5 super-large core is about 3.4 GHz.

For reference, the vivoX100 standard version is equipped with a 6.78-inch 2800×1260 ultra-retinal 8T eye-care micro-curved screen with a peak brightness of up to 3000 nits and supports a new night cat eye-care function.

The vivoX100 series first launched the Dimensity 9300 processor, adopts an all-large-core CPU, a 12-core flagship GPU, and an APU790 with a built-in generative AI engine; it has a self-developed Blue Sea battery built-in. The standard version is equipped with an equivalent 5000 mAh capacity battery, and the Pro version is 5400 mAh, supporting zero-pole extremely fast startup, and when the phone is out of power, it can go from shutdown to logo lighting in as little as 4 seconds at the fastest.

In terms of imaging, the vivoX100 standard version is equipped with three 5000-megapixel lenses, among which the Zeiss super telephoto uses a periscope structure design and is supported by an f/2.57 super-large aperture.
