The patch shows that in the ongoing Linux 6.10 merge window, it includes Qualcomm's support for eDP and DP sub-modes and the handling of the driver for Qualcomm X1E80100 (that is, Snapdragon XElite).

Just as Qualcomm outlined in a recent blog post about Snapdragon XElite's support for Linux, in Linux 6.8 to 6.9, they have already achieved most of the functions, and for Linux 6.10 to 6.11, they are still adapting in aspects such as camera, video, memory DCVS, GPU support, etc. In addition, Qualcomm also plans to conduct power and performance optimization, expand video decoding, SoftISP camera support, firmware in linux-firmware.git, and simpler ARM Linux distribution support.

Currently, Qualcomm is collaborating with Lenovo, Arm, and Linaro to develop the AArch64 notebook computer GitHub project and has built in Linux support in several generations of Snapdragon Windows SoCs to ensure that users can boot Linux on laptops equipped with Qualcomm's SoCs. TapTechNews will follow the subsequent progress.
