Debian 12 Released with Updates

According to TapTechNews on June 30, the latest decimal version 12.6 of Debian 12, code-named 'bookworm', was released yesterday. Compared to 12.5 four and a half months ago, it brings a total of 84 security updates and 162 bug fixes.

Debian 12.6 is not a completely new version; it only updates some software packages. After installing the old version, you can also upgrade the software packages to the current version using the latest Debian image.(note: Debian is a Linux distribution)

The installation image of Debian 12.6 is now available for download, and the 64-bit LiveCD offers optional desktop environments such as KDE Plasma, GNOME, Xfce, Cinnamon, MATE, LXQt, and LXDE.

TapTechNews noted that Debian 11 'bullseye' also updated to version 11.10 simultaneously, including 76 security updates and 62 bug fixes.
