McAfee said that the DeepFakeDetector has been trained with more than 200,000 samples and does not rely on the cloud network but uses the NPU in Lenovo AIPC to identify directly from the PC.

McAfee stated that this local deployment method has many advantages, maintaining user privacy without affecting the speed and protecting the security and privacy of user data.

Users who purchase Lenovo's new AIPC will also get a 30-day free trial of McAfee DeepFakeDetector, and the first-year pricing in the US starts at $9.99 (TapTechNews note: currently about 71.3 Chinese yuan).
