TapTechNews July 3rd news, the president of Great Wall Motors, Mu Feng, posted this afternoon to introduce the latest-generation intelligent driving system, CoffeePilotUltra. The hardware is equipped with 16 radars and 11 high-definition cameras, and will be installed on the Blue Mountain Intelligent Driving Version model (previously, the WEY brand has not had a model with the above configuration, so the Blue Mountain Intelligent Driving Version can be regarded as the "first to be installed").

The 16 radars include 1 lidar, 3 millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic radars, and there are also 11 high-definition cameras, including the face recognition camera at the driver's seat on the A-pillar, two blind zone cameras at the front and rear of the car, four surround view cameras, and two cameras on the front windshield for the dash cam. According to the introduction, the functions of different cameras are also different:

Face recognition camera: It can detect whether the user is fatigued driving.

Blind zone camera: By collecting road condition information, it allows the user to understand the blind spots and dead corners in the car.

Surround view camera: It collects the road information of the front, back, left, and right, providing multi-angle road conditions.

The camera on the front windshield: It serves for the dash cam and can observe the road condition ahead, and supports 1080p high-definition photo shooting, short video recording, and other functions.

Mu Feng said that these hardware layouts can enable the vehicle to observe the road condition information more carefully and provide more comprehensive hardware support for the no-map NOA.

According to TapTechNews's previous reports, Antutu exposed the跑分 situation of the in-car system of the WEY Blue Mountain Intelligent Driving Version this month: equip with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 vehicle-grade intelligent cockpit chip, the memory allocated to the Android system is 16GB, and the storage is 128GB (the whole system adopts the 24GB+256GB scheme), and the跑分 is 1117571 points.

The vehicle size is 5156/1980/1805mm, and the wheelbase is 3050mm. In the cockpit, it is equipped with a dual 15.6-inch large connected screen + 17.3-inch rear entertainment screen + instrument panel, supporting 4-screen linkage, and equipped with a 29-inch CoffeeSR-HUD, claiming to "truly restore the world".

The car was officially unveiled at this year's Beijing International Auto Show. Some media reported that it is expected to be officially launched in June this year, but now it seems that it has obviously "jumped the gun".
