Fisker Completes Sale of $3.456 Million in Senior Secured Notes to Investors

TapTechNews reported on May 14th that the American electric vehicle startup Fisker announced the completion of a transaction to sell $3.456 million in senior secured notes due 2025 to existing institutional investors, equivalent to approximately 25.021 million RMB.

Fisker stated that this issuance could potentially increase the aggregate principal amount of its notes to $75 million, about 543 million RMB. This transaction marks an important financial move for the company as it seeks investments to restart production and introduce new products, such as the Fisker Pear and Alaska electric pickup truck, while continuing to explore options to sustain its operations.

The company mentioned that the proceeds will be used to fund various expenses outlined in the budget approved by investors, and noted that these senior secured notes will mature on June 24, 2024.
