Apple Announces New Midnight Color HomePod mini

TapTechNews July 15th news, Apple today announced the launch of a brand new Midnight Color HomePod mini made of 100% recycled fabric. Its appearance consists of a seamless sound-transmitting fabric mesh and a fully illuminated backlit touchpad, and it will go on sale starting July 17th (Wednesday), and will be sold together with colors such as yellow, orange, blue, and white.

The HomePod mini with this new color will still cost $109.99, and will be available for sale at Apple Store retail stores in the United States, Canada, China Mainland, Singapore, and 28 other countries and regions.

HomePod mini was first released in November 2020. Currently, new information about the HomePod family is also continuously coming out. According to a previous report by TapTechNews, after the tvOS18 Beta3 update was released earlier this month, new hidden touch interface code was found, suggesting that Apple will use it in a future HomePod device with a screen. In addition, an as-yet-unreleased HomeAccessory17,1 device was found in Apple's back-end code, which is speculated to be a HomePod with a screen product.
