Ideal Auto Rolls Out OTA 6.1 Update for In-Vehicle System with Enhanced Intelligent Driving and More

TapTechNews July 31, Ideal Auto begins to successively roll out the OTA 6.1 version of the in-vehicle system update for Ideal L series and Ideal MEGA users today. The upgrade focuses on intelligent driving, intelligent space, and intelligent electric, with a total of 6 new functions added and 9 experiences optimized.

This upgrade adds automatic emergency steering through ADMax, upgrades the 'anti-cut-in' ability, and adds the 'Ideal Showroom' and other functions to the exhibition cars, continuously enhancing the safety and convenience of Ideal L series and Ideal MEGA.

In terms of intelligent driving, the Ideal ADMax intelligent driving ability has been significantly improved. In some physical limit scenarios where full braking of AEB cannot avoid a collision, fully automatic emergency steering (AES) can assist without manual steering wheel operation and quickly wake up and automatically execute avoidance.

In addition, the AEB performance of Ideal Auto in dealing with cut-in scenarios is upgraded again to achieve a closer anti-collision ability for cut-in of the front vehicle and cyclists. TapTechNews noticed that the new version also upgrades the car-following ability of intelligent driving functions such as NOA and LCC. The adjustment distance of the 'close' and'medium' gears of the car-following distance is closer to reduce the probability of being cut in. At the same time, the adjustment unit of the speed limit offset is reduced, and the intelligent driving speed control is more free and delicate.

Ideal ADPro also迎来了升级, adding a continuous cone barrel warning function. When the vehicle detects multiple consecutive cone barrels in the adjacent lane, it will give a warning reminder through the HUD, EID interface and system sound to improve driving safety.

In terms of intelligent space, the exhibition cars in Ideal Auto's national retail centers welcome a new application - Ideal Showroom; Ideal Companion entertainment assistant adds the Olympic event Q&A function, supporting event query, live appointment, Olympic medal list and competition result query.

In terms of intelligent electric, the charging map of Ideal Auto App is refreshed. When viewing city stations and nearby stations, Ideal Supercharging Station and Preferred Supercharging Station can be displayed separately, making it more convenient to find supercharging stations (the Ideal App is expected to be updated in mid-August).
