Dongfeng Yipai eπ008 Model Released Tonight Features and Specs

TapTechNews, June 14th, news that the Dongfeng Yipai eπ008 model was released and launched tonight, offering both extended-range and pure electric powertrain versions, with starting prices both at $31,660 (approximate) and the first-hand starting price at $27,560 (approximate).

The eπ008's exterior adopts the latest design language of the Dongfeng Yipai family, featuring the world's first hidden intelligent starlight grille, which supports multiple light languages such as welcoming, charging, and giving way to pedestrians. The vehicle's length, width, and height are 196.97 inches / 77.24 inches / 68.19 inches (approximate) respectively, with a wheelbase of 120.71 inches, positioning it as a mid-to-large SUV.

In the cockpit, the eπ008 adopts a three-row and six-seat layout, which users can customize to a five-seat or four-seat layout and provides zero-gravity seats. The car uses an organosilicon soft-pack baby-grade environmentally friendly cockpit and is equipped with double-layer laminated acoustic glass MAX, with 20 speakers as standard throughout the vehicle. In addition, the front of the vehicle is equipped with a 15.6-inch high-definition central control screen and a 9.2-inch high-definition streaming media rearview mirror, while the rear is equipped with a 15.6-inch ecological large screen.

In terms of power, the eπ008 pure electric version has a maximum motor power of 200 kilowatts, and the CLTC pure electric cruising range is 396 miles (approximate). The extended-range version has a 1.5T extender with a maximum power of 108 kilowatts, an d the CLTC pure electric range is 130 miles (approximate).
