New Qichen VX6 SUV Starts Pre-Booking with Upgrades Expected

TapTechNews October 2nd news, the new Qichen VX6 SUV model has now opened for pre-booking, with a limited-time 9.9 yuan ($1.42) down payment to offset 2,000 yuan ($285.71) of the car purchase price. Users who pre-book in advance can superimpose and enjoy other rights and interests of the final listing. The pre-booking time is from October 1st to October 16th, 2024.

For this model, the official said that it has moved smart home into the car, and it is expected to upgrade the cockpit configuration. By comparison, the current Qichen VX6 guide price range is 134,900 - 159,900 yuan ($19,342.86 - 22,857.14).

In November last year, Dongfeng Nissan launched the current Qichen VX6. The car adopts the STAR dynamic design concept, uses a black floating-style roof, and the front face adopts a split headlight group design with an integrated LED light source, and the through-type light strip retains the family's V shaped design element.

In the cockpit aspect, the car is equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel and a 14.6-inch central control screen, equipped with the Lighthouse OS, supports 180-degree front and back electric adjustment of the backrest, and can realize the flattening of the front seat combined with the rear seat. The new car also provides L2-level assisted driving, 540° three-dimensional surround view imaging and FAP fully automatic parking and other functions.

In terms of specifications, TapTechNews learned that the size of this car is 4658x1890x1656 millimeters (183.39x74.41x65.2 inches), and the wheelbase is 2850 millimeters (112.2 inches). It adopts a single-motor layout. The maximum power of the motor is 160 kilowatts (215 horsepower), and the peak torque is 275 Newton-meters (203 pound-feet). It is equipped with a 53 kWh battery pack, and the cruising range under the CLTC working condition is 450 kilometers (279.62 miles).
