Google Pixel 9a New Colors, Sizes and Design Details Revealed

TapTechNews October 2nd news, the tech media AndroidHeadline disclosed again yesterday (October 1st) that the Google Pixel 9a phone will have a total of 4 colors. In addition to the common white (Porcelain) and black (Obsidian), there will also be two new colors of pink (Peony) and purple (Iris).

The source said that the Pixel 9a will abandon the two dark colors of green (Aloe) and blue (Bay). Among them, the pink (Peony) color is similar to the color of the basic Pixel 9, and Iris is purple, which comes from the color of the iris. The iris has an important position in Japanese culture, especially being widely cultivated in the Edo period.

TapTechNews quoted the source to report that the size of the Pixel 9a will be slightly taller and wider, with dimensions of 154x73 millimeters. It is about 2 millimeters taller and 1 millimeter wider than the Pixel 8a.

The Pixel 9a is also thinner, and now it has a thickness of 8.5 millimeters, while the Pixel 8a has a thickness of 8.9 millimeters. Due to the almost flush camera design with the fuselage this year, this may mean that the battery will be smaller.

Judging from the exposed design renderings, the Pixel 9a does not follow the design elements of the Pixel 9 series, but adopts a flat camera design. The media believes that the phone looks very much like the LG G8 ThinQ or V60 ThinQ from a few years ago.
