Winbond Electronics Launches 1GB 1.8V Qspi NAND Flash for Wearables and IoT

TapTechNews August 8th news, Winbond Electronics, for wearable devices and low-power Internet of Things devices, launched the 1GB 1.8V Qspi NAND flash W25N01KW.

This flash memory product is specifically designed for wearable devices and battery-powered IoT devices, featuring low standby power consumption, a small package, continuous reading capabilities, and supports quick start and instant activation.

Officials said that in continuous reading and sequential reading modes, the reading speed is up to 52 MB/s; the flash memory also has an advanced deep power-down mode that can reduce power consumption to as low as 1 µA.

TapTechNews learned from the report that the W25N01KW has a compact shape and adopts a compact WSON8 (8mm x 6mm) and WSON8 (6mm x 5mm) packaging.
