The good open source ecosystem has strongly boosted the rapid growth of Beijing's software and information technology service industry and has become an important engine for the high-quality development of the capital economy. In the next step, Beijing will take platform, project, talent, cooperation as the main work line, vigorously promote the development in the open source field, and create a gravitational field of developers, funds, technologies, helping to enhance China's influence and voice in the international open source community.
Yin Yong proposed that it is necessary to consolidate the open source infrastructure, accelerate the construction of the Beijing International Open Source Community, strongly support open source software and technological innovation, and encourage universities, research institutions and enterprises to jointly carry out open source education to cultivate more innovators with open source awareness. It is necessary to accelerate the incubation of open source projects, support the construction of open source business incubators, promote the application and landing of high-quality domestic open source projects in key scenarios, and encourage the synchronous opening of open source hardware and software. It is necessary to deepen international cooperation in open source, improve the overseas service system of open source enterprises, participate in the construction of global important open source projects and the formulation of standard rules, and improve the internationalization level of open source innovation.
