The 57-year-old Pollich has successfully developed Porsche's business in Canada and the UK and served as the chief executive in these markets.

Previously, he worked in Porsche's strategic department and developed the brand's global sales network. Since 2018, he has been serving as the executive chairman of the board of Porsche Deutschland GmbH.

Pollich will ensure the current business operation of Porsche in China, and the main tasks also include implementing a value-oriented and in line with the brand image growth strategy in the Chinese market. In addition, he will also carry out more in-depth cooperation with dealer partners in China to further optimize the company's internal processes and structures.

And according to TapTechNews' previous report, Porsche's global sales in the first half of 2024 was 155,945 units, compared to 167,354 units in the same period of the previous year, a decrease of 7%, among which the sales in the Chinese market was 29,551 units, a 33% decrease compared to 43,832 units in the same period of the previous year.
